The Residence La Vetreria is situated in the historical centre of Catania, nearby the Castello Ursino. The hotel boasts a view enclosing the city roofs, the Etna volcano, reaching down to the sea. You can walk down the heart of the city crossing the Pescheria, the ancient fish market located behind the Piazza Duomo. The building was a noble abode that from 1924 housed a glassworks factory. - The residence hotel La Vetreria, from the beginning of XX century, was an artistic mirror manifacture with the apatments of its owner's family on the upper floors.In 2003 it was refurbished keeping the cosy and friendly atmosphere of the sicilian houses belonging to that period.
