- Hotel Description
This family-run hotel was recently re-furbished and is situated in a beautiful tree-lined avenue. Owned originally by the Crown, it was built by Edward VII, Prince of Wales, as a Gentleman's Club. Opposite North Lodge Park, it is 274 metres (300 yards) from the beach and a 5-minute stroll to the town and its famous pier, where shows are held throughout the summer, as well as the annual Christmas Spectacular later in the year. The North Norfolk coast is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has an abundance of stately homes and other attractions.
- This former 19th century club house of King Edward VII is now an AA 3-star hotel, restaurant, wedding and conference venue, situated in a quiet tree-lined avenue only 5-minutes on foot to the town centre, pier, promenade and beach (the latter can be accessed via lift). The Virginia Court Hotel caters for the more discerning guest and the owners have endeavoured to create a top quality experience at a reasonable price. Couples, groups, singles and families are all welcome for a holiday at a less frenetic pace. Golf packages, bowls tours and group bookings are available all year. The hotel is open for Christmas.
