This quiet, privately owned hotel boasts character and comfort, just a short walk from the popular sea-front and bustling town centre. After a busy day exploring the beautiful Ayrshire sights, you can return here to relax with the TV in your spacious individually adorned room. Alternatively, you can browse the newspapers or sample a traditional single malt in the cosy guest lounge and bar. Train and bus stations are both within easy walking distance, and Prestwick Airport is only 5 km away.
- Built in 1850, originally 2 separate houses, this hotel was completely refurbished in 2005. The Arrandale is currently owned and run by Iain and Linda, who pride themselves on taking care of each and every guest. The hotel serves a full Scottish breakfast each morning so you can enjoy freshly cooked local produce, including free range eggs from a local farm and locally produced butchers' sausages and bacon. We are happy to arrange an evening meal for any of our guests (with prior notice please). Please contact the hotel for this. Due to Scottish legislation, the hotel is completely non-smoking.
