- Hotel Description
Nent Hall offers a charming destination to enjoy a relaxing break. Set in peaceful gardens, we are only a short drive from the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and much more. Nent Hall Country House Hotel is a haven of tranquillity. Perfect for those who want to get away from it all, Nent Hall offers peace and quiet but also is the ideal location for exploring the delights of Cumbria and the Lake District. The hotel has recently undergone a million pound refurbishment and all rooms offer comfort in a stylish country house setting. For a truly relaxing holiday linger in the elegant dining room where our head chef serves rosette standard cuisine, take your ease in our sitting rooms or wander across the lawns and sit under the trees. You can stroll along the banks of the River Nent, saunter round the cobbled lanes of nearby Alston, or walk up to several vantage points, where the whole valley is spread out below you.
- Nent Hall has recently completed an extensive million pound renovation which included all of the public spaces and bedrooms. The hotel has also installed a brand new state-of -the-art heating and hot water system (completed in August 2006). The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents from Monday to Saturday, and the head chef serves an extensive table dGÇÖh+¦te menu which changes each night. The menu is produced from excellent produce, most of which is sourced locally. The Coach House Inn offers a very different type of food which consists of traditional English fayre and an excellent grill menu, though still cooked by our rosette standard chefs. This menu changes seasonally to suit the availability of good seasonal ingredients.
